The sale arena at Mitchell Livestock was overflowing with eager buyers and bidders for the 31st annual Werning Cattle Company production sale. It was very evident that many were repeat buyers by the Werning Cattle Company caps they were wearing.
This was a great set of uniform beef bulls. They were very eye appealing, structurally correct and full of red meat. The bred heifers were feminine, broody females that will make great mama or possibly donor cows down the road. The Werning family is very selective in what they keep in their cowherd and even more selective in what they offer to their customers.
These cattle are backed by some of the leading pedigrees in both Simmental and Angus breeds. They showed lots of style, power and functionality.
