2012 Philip Livestock Bull Day

A beautiful day and a large crowd of buyers were welcomed at Philip Livestock's Annual Bull Day. This cataloged bull sale has been one of the most highly advertised and successful turnout bull sales in the region since its inception several years ago.

Thor Roseth and the crew at Philip Livestock take pride in the quality of bulls offered in this sale. Several breeders use Bull Day as their total production sale, ensuring a great selection of bulls from six breeds that were cataloged.

These ranches were featured as being total production sales: Mehlhaf Angus, 40 bulls averaged $2,510; Youngerberg Angus, 26 bulls averaged $2,708; and Thorson Herefords, 18 bulls averaged $3,611.

This was a very successful sale for the crew at Philip Livestock, with the total average $100 greater, per head, on more bulls sold compared to 2011. Smaller breeders tired of selling private treaty should contact Roseth to discuss options of selling at 2013 Bull Day.
