2011 NILE Gold Buckle Futurities results

The NILE has three futurities each year for horses sold in previous NILE horse sales. The futurities have become very popular events; many people buy horses specifically to bring back to the futurity classes the next year. The quality, condition and level of training has improved each year.

There was $10,000 paid out in purse money this year. The futurities are sponsored by Copper Spring Ranch of Bozeman, MT. NILE extends a big thanks to Copper Spring Ranch for their years of support.

In 2012, NILE will be adding a Barrel Racing Futurity for horses sold through NILE Gold Buckle Horse Sales titled “The Midnight Corona Barrel Racing Futurity.” The $2,500 added money will be sponsored by the Askin/Jordan Partnership, owners of the outstanding stallion, Midnight Corona. Midnight Corona is a young stallion that is siring colts that are excelling at the race track and in barrel racing and roping. In these futurities, 75 percent of the money a horse wins will be paid to the owner as of the date of the futurity and 25 percent is paid to the breeder that sold the horse through the NILE sale.
