North Dakota

The 10 producers who registered the most Angus beef cattle in the state of North Dakota recorded a total of 4,688 Angus with the American Angus Association® during fiscal year 2015, which ended Sept. 30, according to Richard Wilson, Association interim chief executive officer.

The 10 top recorders in North Dakota are: Schaffs Angus Valley, Saint Anthony; McCumber Angus Ranch, Rolette; Chad & Julie Ellingson, Saint Anthony; Justin & Sara Spickler, Glenfield; 21 Angus Ranch, New England; Brooks Chalky Butte Ranch, Bowman; Vollmer Angus Ranch, Wing; Nathan & Emily Spickler, Glenfield; Diamond J Angus Ranch, Mandan; Best Angus, Watford City.

Nebraska

The 10 producers who registered the most Angus beef cattle in the state of Nebraska recorded a total of 4,659 Angus with the American Angus Association® during fiscal year 2015, which ended Sept. 30, according to Richard Wilson, Association interim chief executive officer.

The 10 producers who registered the most Angus beef cattle in the state of South Dakota recorded a total of 4169 Angus with the American Angus Association® during fiscal year 2015, which ended Sept. 30, according to Richard Wilson, Association interim chief executive officer.

The 10 top recorders in South Dakota are: Jorgensen Ranches, Ideal; Edgar Bros, Rockham; Raven Angus, Colome; Wilkinson Ranch, Lake Preston; Roger W & Shelly Joseph, Winner; Peterson Angus, Alcester; Thomas Ranch, Harrold; Donald E Miller, Estelline; Mick & Lynn Varilek, Geddes; Hart Farms, Frederick.

Wyoming

The 10 producers who registered the most Angus beef cattle in the state of Wyoming recorded a total of 3,164 Angus with the American Angus Association® during fiscal year 2015, which ended Sept. 30, according to Richard Wilson, Association interim chief executive officer.

The 10 top recorders in Wyoming are: James A Jensen, Riverton; M R Angus, Wheatland; George Ochsner & Sons, Torrington; Ken Haas Angus, Lagrange; Powder River Angus, Spotted Horse; Kendrick Redland, Manderson; Shawn Booth, Veteran; Paint Rock Angus Ranch Inc, Hyattville; WEBO Angus LLC, Lusk; Jason J Zum Brunnen, Lusk.

Angus breeders across the nation in 2015 registered 320,362 head of Angus cattle. "Our growth this fiscal year continues to demonstrate strong demand for Angus genetics and solidifies our long-held position as a leader in the beef cattle industry," Wilson says. "These results underscore our members' commitment to providing genetic solutions to the beef cattle industry."
