April 14, 2008

At the ranch, St. Onge, SD

Joe Goggins

22 fall Angus bulls – $3,080; 97 yearling Angus bulls – $3,307; 119 total Angus bulls – $3,265; 27 registered Angus heifer calves – $1,059; 51 commercial Angus heifer calves – $975

The sun was shining as neighbors and potential bidders walked through the pens before the sale. This area had received a nice amount of moisture the past week and the day began in the 60’s and reached the 80’s. Bakers Lemar Angus, owned by Leo and Mike Baker and their families, hosted perhaps the biggest crowd of the spring sale season.
