Brett Stall wins Rapid City 2012 Xtreme Bulls competition

RAPID CITY, SD – Brett Stall from Detroit Lakes, MN is the 2012 Rapid City Xtreme Bulls champion. Stall’s score of 90.5 on Burch Rodeo’s Death Warrant gave him the edge in the long go-round. He followed with 89.5 points on Sutton Rodeo’s Crystal Springs in the short go-round giving him a total of 179.5 in the average. This is Stall’s first Xtreme Bulls title.

Douglas Duncan of Alvin, TX, finished a close 1.5 points behind Stall in the average with 178 on two bulls. He was the short go-round winner with the 90-point ride on Gray Squirrel by New Frontier Rodeo.

Patrick Geipel of Elbert, CO, and Brent Mentz of Delta, MO, tied for third and fourth place in the average with a total of 168.5 each. Geipel finished a half-point behind Duncan in the short go-round with 89.5 points on the bull Double Millennium.

South Dakota bull rider Shawn Coleman finished seventh in the average with a total of 167 on two bulls.
