Carrying on a long tradition, the Center Of The Nation Quarter Horse Association (CONQHA) presented their 2010 CONQHA Futurity during the Central States Fair in Rapid City, SD. Held in conjunction with the Quarter Horse show circuit at the fair, the futurity classes were held August 21-22, 2010.

Utilizing a double-judge format on Saturday and single-judge day on Sunday, the show once again drew interest from across the Midwest as they competed for their share of the prize money offered through the association. They competed for a total purse of $10,733.14 in the three divisions – Open Futurity, Stallion Stakes Futurity and Rushmore Futurity.

Judges for the 2010 CONQHA Futurities were Mike and Robyn Jung, Utah, and Dave Denniston from Colorado and for the first time Susan Nelson, Newot, CO, and Adair Walker from Gillette, WY shared the secretary duties for the futurities. Class sponsors this year included: Thar’s Feed & Ranch Supply, The Big Chex (Susan Nelson), Nemmers Show Horses, TSR Ranch, Rhapsody Farm Quarter Horses, Wallys Spraying Service and Center Of The Nation Quarter Horse Association.
