Beef Bucks, Inc. held its 14th Annual Beef Bucks Golf Classic on Aug. 19, 2016 in Brandon, South Dakota. On this over-cast day, there were over 50 teams of four golfers and 40+ hole sponsors playing with producers, corporate personnel, financial experts, retailers, and consumers. After a day of playing 18 holes of golf, all enjoyed a 16 ounce steak furnished by National Beef again this year followed by a live auction offering items from John Deere, Henry Repeating Arms, Badlands Motor Speedway, Minnesota Twins, Johnson Brothers Liquor Company, SDSU Jackrabbit Football, and Texas Roadhouse.

Action on the course was recorded, in part, by a photo-taking drone flying over the event. Bob Montross said, "With the drone there was no tree to hide behind." Bonuses for the golfers were sponsored by Randy Fenske (Fenske Cattle Company) – poker run, Prostrollo All-American Auto Mall – hole in one opportunity for the lease of a Chevy pick-up, Nichols Fencing – pin prizes on each hole.

Teams placing first in the four flights were: Caliber Creative (Championship Flight), Nelson Insurance (First Flight), First Bank & Trust (Second Flight) and Ag PHD/Hefty Seeds (Third Flight).

The 15th Annual Golf Classic is set for Friday, August 18, 2017, in Brandon.

Beef Bucks, Inc. is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of beef promotion and consumer education.
