Cowboy Christmas Ball returns to Deadwood this holiday season

DEADWOOD, SD – A staple of the Old West, the Cowboy Christmas Ball returns to historic Deadwood this holiday season. This year, the Ball will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 and will feature two performances with a stable of the Black Hills’ best performers. All proceeds from the event will benefit the new Days of ’76 Museum.

Deadwood’s Cowboy Christmas Ball will include performances by Paul Larson, Gordy Pratt, Kenny Putnam, Ricky Jacobsen, Boyd Bristow, Brent Morris, Paul Vande Velde, Sarah Carlson, Jim Thompson and many more. The shows feature a concert with all the favorite Christmas melodies followed by a good old-fashioned cowboy dance. The events will also include desserts, heavy hors devours, a cash bar and the National Finals Rodeo on big screens.

In addition to the regular performance, the 1 p.m. matinee show is kid-friendly, with visits from Santa, a cowboy clown and cowboy heroes. Kids under 12 years old are admitted free to the afternoon show. The evening show features silent and live auctions.

Tickets for the Dec. 10 Matinee Event are $20 each or $150 for a table of eight. For the Matinee Event, doors open at noon with the show beginning at 1 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the Evening Show, with the curtain lifting at 7 p.m. Tickets for the evening show are $25 each or $175 for a table of eight.
