JJ Productions, Gary and Jody Johnson, presented another great selection of horses for the annual Fizz Bomb Classic horse sale. The sale was held in conjunction with the Fizz Bomb Classic Barrel futurity at the Cam-Plex Expo Center, Gillette, Wyo.

This was an excellent line up of speed-bred horses. The sale horses were selected for pedigree, performance and overall quality. From finished barrel horses to weanling prospects, this sale had something for every speed horse enthusiast as well as some great everyday ranch horses. Almost every horse in the sale was nominated or paid up in several futurities and have the ability to go on winning. Be sure to put this sale down in your calendar for next year if you are looking for top-of-the-line, high-performance horses that will get it done in the arena and on the track.

Topping the sale was lot 15, Braken for Fame, a 2012 sorrel stallion by Dash Ta Fame x First Down Dash by Dash For Cash, out of a No Brakes Now x Dr. Kirk mare. This sharp-looking stallion prospect has the pedigree of several race and barrel pen winners and was paid up in WPRA-P.E.S.I and AQHA Challenge enrolled plus eligible for several multiple incentives. The colt was consigned by Jim Uhrig, Lemmon, S.D., and Johnson Stables, Shadehill, S.D. Ellroy and Kim Mills, Gillette, Wyo., were the buyers at $20,000.

Keeping It French, lot 17, consigned by Tyrell and Skip Moody, Letcher, S.D., sold for $8,000 to Brandon Myers, St. Onge, S.D. This 2012 sorrel mare is sired by Frenchmans Guy x Sun Frost and out of a Special Effort x Raise Your Glass x Victory Dash mare. She's bred to win in the barrel arena and has the looks and shape to be a great broodmare when she's done running. Co-top selling Future Fortunes horse.

Lot 28, also from Moody's, sold to Mark Bugni, Wanette, Okla., for $8,000. Cool Chrome Guy is a 2012 sorrel stallion by Frenchmans Guy x Sun Frost and out of a Special Effort x Raise Your Glass x Texas Longhorn mare. Co-top selling Future Fortunes horse.

Lot 5, MP Driftin Annie, a 2011 bay mare sired by PC Frenchmans Hayday x Sun Frost and out of a Red Rim Rock x Rainbow Sage mare, was consigned by Bryan Long of Wyoming and sold to an Idaho buyer for $6,500.

Lot 21, Jessamystery, a 2011 bay mare sired by the leading sire in New Mexico in 2012, Jesse James Jr x Mr. Jess Perry and out of a Meter Me Gone x The Signature x Dr. Kirk mare. This mare is a AA race winner and out of a AAA race winner, she has speed and looks. Consigned by George Seward, S.D., and sold to a Wyoming buyer for $4,400.
