Helle Livestock team wins Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo

The Helle Livestock team from Dillon, MT, corralled the first place title in the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo on July 24 before an overflow crowd at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.

The team consisted of Luke Wiggins, Joe Slagowski, John Hagenbarth and Blake Dixon, and placed third in wild cow milking, first in team branding and second in team trailering. Each team member received $200.

Second place in the overall standings went to the Big Country Cowboys of Three Forks, MT. Team members were David Fryer, Andy Kellom, Jaime Wood and Travis Remley who each received $150 checks.

The third place team was M Triple T of Wilsall, MT, with Tyler Vennes, Matt Brewer, Wyatt Zupan and Cody Lahay serving as members.

The S Ranch and Sun Light team from Pryor, MT, placed fourth. Team members included KC Verhelst, Blaine Humble, Ed Verhelst and Sarah Verhelst.

Sarah Scott Verhelst of the S Ranch and Sunlight team was selected as the rodeo’s top hand. She received a buckle and a $200 check.
