Isaacs Cattle Co. "Made in America" Bull Sale

Dan Piroutek

Jan. 25, 2008

At the ranch, west of Callaway, NE

Roger Jacobs

80 yearling Angus bulls – $3,408

Nick and Elaine Isaacs of Isaacs Cattle Co. welcomed a large crowd of repeat buyers and many new faces to their annual “Made in America” sale. The nice weather and sunshine allowed prospective buyers the time to wander through the bulls, evaluating the fine qualities of these stout, growthy bulls.

The Isaacs program is built around the Angus female. Nick and family select and breed cattle to provide moderate birth weights. Their fertile and efficient cows have trouble-free dispositions and udders. Their bulls have a natural pattern to them – they are naturally thick made and easy fleshing, bred to sire better females.

This year’s sale brought the introduction of the first calves sired by the new Isaac herd bull, Sitz Alliance 7544. This herd bull was sired by Sitz Alliance 6595 and out of a daughter of Traveler 6807. These yearling bulls were very readily received by this enthusiastic crowd.
