Kourtney Hauge: Junior Miss Rodeo South Dakota Newsletter

I hope you are enjoying this nice South Dakota weather we have been having lately. Spring is now in full swing and so is rodeo season. Since last month, I have been busy with school, preparing for the summer, and trying to get all the last minute preparations done to prepare for this year’s rodeo season. This month I am continuing to work with new Junior Miss Rodeo South Dakota sponsors to make this year’s pageant another success.

I will be making quite a few appearances in the upcoming months, including: the South Dakota State University Jackrabbit Stampede, the Wessington Springs Foothills Rodeo, Cherokee Pro Rodeo in Cherokee, IA, Crystal Springs Ranch Rodeo, Highmore 4-H Rodeo, and the Miss Rodeo South Dakota Pageant towards the end of June.

As I have mention in previous newsletters, even though summer still seems far away, I encourage all girls between the ages of 13 and 18 to consider running for the 2011 Junior Miss Rodeo South Dakota (JRMRSD) title. Not only is it a great way to learn valuable skills needed to help you fulfill future endeavors, but you have the honor of representing South Dakota’s greatest sport – rodeo. If anyone would like more information about the pageant, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Until next time, I hope you all enjoy the month of April and this nice weather. See you in May!

Love and God bless,

Kourtney Hauge
