Champion Maine-Anjou Bull was Lot 28X, BPF Calloway 5W, consigned by Bushy Park Farms of Mitchell, SD.

The 2010 Black Hills Stock Show Maine-Anjou Show and Sale was held Friday, Feb. 5 in Rapid City, SD. Twelve bulls and 11 heifers competed in this year’s Maine-Anjou show judged by Randy Daniel of Colbert, GA.

Winning the title of Champion Maine-Anjou Bull was Lot 28X, BPF Calloway 5W, consigned by Bushy Park Farms of Mitchell, SD. This 1/5/09 born bull sold to Lynne Hammond of Orient, SD for $2,550.

The Reserve Champion Maine-Anjou Bull went to Lot 13, WEBC Winchester 971W, consigned by Weber Show Cattle of Highmore, SD. The 4/9/09 born bull sold as the highest selling bull in the sale, going to Ken Culp of Kentucky for $4,100.

Champion Maine-Anjou Heifer went to Lot 11, Wager 865U, consigned by Wager Cattle Co. of Gettysburg, SD. This 3/7/08 bred heifer sold as the second high selling female in the sale, going to Daniel Klaassen of Little Rock, IA for $4,400.

Reserve Champion Maine-Anjou heifer went to Lot 10, JRJV Miss U050, consigned by Jensen Reindl Joint Venture of Custer, SD. This bred heifer born 3/27/08 sold to Krooked Fence Ranch of Balaton, WI for $3,850.

The high selling heifer in the sale went to Lot 3, WEBC Wanda 970W, consigned by Weber Show Cattle of Highmore. She was a 4/3/09 born heifer and went to Weidenbach Ranch of Highmore for $6,000.
