Miller Angus 29th Annual Production Sale

Dan Piroutek & Scott Dirk

The Miller Angus annual production sale was held at Presho Livestock. Curt, Janet and Casey Miller once again hosted a big crowd of very aggressive buyers. Most of the bulls in the Miller sale were sired by their resident herd bulls: TC Broadside T24 and Schurrtop MA Reload J368.

The Miller herd is built around providing their customers with big, long bulls that sire extra performance for their customers. These bulls are extra long and very sound, with a lot of eye appeal.

Their slogan is, “Where genetics come first.” The Millers publish a complete catalog with comprehensive data on each of the bulls; gains and productivity factors are published for comparison. Pathfinder status can be found in the mother’s pedigree of these bulls.

Curt says his greatest pleasure comes from watching his customers’ calves top the markets. Many of the bulls in the sale sold to repeat buyers from around the Presho area.

Top-selling bull of the day was Lot 02, selling for $6,750 to Ronald and Kent Juhnke from Vivian, SD.
