North Dakota State Equestrian Team starts season on high point

North Dakota State University’s (NDSU) Equestrian Team opened its 2010-11 season by being named the high point team on one day of competition at River Falls, WI.

Team member Kelly O’Connell, a senior from Green Bay, WI, also was named high-point rider both days of the Sept. 25-26 competition.

“The 2010-11 Equestrian Team has a strong core of 13 returning team members and 11 new members to bring increased talent to the team,” coach Tara Swanson said.

“There is a tremendous amount of talent and potential on this team, and I am expecting to see great things this year.”

The team’s next competition is in Crookston, MN, on Oct. 23-24.
