NRHA: Fans can play online to win a Continental saddle or ton of feed

OKLAHOMA CITY – Go to the Inside Reining Facebook page (www.facebook.com/insidereining) and look for weekly contests – including the increasingly popular “You Be The Judge,” which let’s you test your skills against the experts. Watch the new maneuver clip posted each week, be the first to guess the correct score and win a weekly prize – a headstall and reins donated by Continental Saddlery.

At the end of the season, everyone who posts an answer in “You Be The Judge” will be eligible to win a brand new Penni Gerardi Reining Saddle – also donated by Continental Saddlery. Oliver Dusterhoff of Continental Saddlery, which still make saddles by hand, one at a time in Ider, AL, said, “The contest has been a hoot so far, and we just want to up the ante a little with the addition of the grand prize Penni Gerardi saddle, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.” If you’re interested in taking a Continental Saddle for a test ride, go to http://www.continentalsaddlery.com, request one and then play You Be The Judge!

Also on NRHA Inside Reining Facebook, check out our newest game – “Craig’s List” – featuring two-time World Equestrian Games Gold Medalist Craig Schmersal. Each week Craig will read a new and somewhat random sounding list. Be the first to post what it is a list “of” and win a weekly prize, ranging from “Craig’s Good As Gold training DVDs,” “Inside Reining Training Secrets DVDs,” Classic Equine boots, NRHA merchandise and more. At the end of the season, a grand prize of one ton of feed provided by Purina will be drawn at random from everybody who posts an answer on “Craig’s List.” Craig, an NRHA Two Million Dollar Rider, said, “We’ve been having a lot of fun with this deal – seeing all the bizarre guesses each week. It’s pretty crazy.”

NRHA Sr. Director of Sponsorships & Television Programming Todd Barden said, “We’re so grateful to the Schmersals, to the folks at Continental Saddlery and Purina for making these contests possible. It’s adding a whole new dimension to our outreach on Inside Reining.”
