More than 80 local cattle producers met in the Artesian Community Center in Artesian, SD on Feb. 24, 2010 for the Forestburg Farmers Elevator and Hubbard Feeds Spring Feeder Meeting and Steak Fry. A steak dinner with all the trimmings was provided for the meeting, where a panel of speakers presented information on proper mineralization and supplementation for beef cattle.

Tom Heilman, Hubbard Feeds Sales Representative, introduced the two speakers on the agenda, Dan Herold, Ph.D., and Jon Albro. Herold was first up to the podium to discuss mineral requirements of cattle.
