Remembrance wreaths  at the National Cemetery

Thank a Soldier – Lay a Wreath.

Remembrance and Holiday Wreath Project expanded to Rapid City. The Pennington County 4-H Leaders Association is now taking orders for Remembrance Wreaths to honor all service men and women during the holidays. A free wreath placement service is provided for your family at the Black Hills National Cemetery.

20" Remembrance wreaths cost $20, this includes tax. This freshly made Balsam Wreath is decorated with a simple red bow so all wreaths blanketing the National Cemetery are equally beautiful. This wreath can be delivered to you or placed free of charge before the Wreath Across America Ceremony on Dec. 15, starting at 10 a.m. at the National Cemetery.

Holiday Wreaths and Garland are also available, providing additional military support. Cost ranges $20 to $40, great for businesses and gift giving.

Wreaths can be ordered through November 15th by contacting Pennington County 4-H Office at 605-394-2188.

NOTE: The public is invited to join together for a patriotic remembrance ceremony before the holiday season begins at the Black Hills National Cemetery in conjunction with Wreath Across America starting at 10 a.m. on Dec. 15. No wreaths can be purchased on the grounds, must be ordered by Nov. 15. F
