Spectators overflowed the stands and Jacobs Livestock and Rodeo’s hard bucking roughstock made the going tough for the large number of contestants at the Three Forks Rodeo on July 16-17. Jacobs Livestock and Rodeo of Great Falls, MT, was the stock contractor for the annual event.

When the numbers were tallied, Colter Heckman of Choteau, MT, captured the classic saddlebronc event with an 84 marking.

The bareback title went to Kip Lish of McCammon, MT, with a 85 marking.

Matt Triplett of Columbia Falls, MT, won the bullriding with a 79 marking.

The steer wrestling best time went to Jason Armstrong of Helena, MT, with a 4.2 second time.

The tie-down honors went to Treston Vermandel with an 8.6-second time.

Jason Handy and Chase Gauger, Billings, MT, earned a 5.5-second time in the team roping and each went home with $1,219.89 checks.

In barrel racing, Carmel Wright of Roy, MT, posted a 17.60 time to win and collected a $1,268.62 check for her time around the barrels.
