Champion Simmental Bull went to Lot 11, Wager 913W, consigned by Wager Cattle Co. of Gettysburg, SD. He was the top selling bull in the sale, going for $7,200 to Beitelspacher Ranch of Bowdle, SD.

The 2010 Black Hills Stock Show Simmental Show and Sale was held on Saturday, Feb. 6 in Rapid City, SD. Forty-nine bulls and eight heifers participated in this year’s show judged by Randy Daniel of Colbert, GA.

The title of Champion Simmental Bull went to Lot 11, Wager 913W, consigned by Wager Cattle Co. of Gettysburg, SD. This 4/11/09 son of WAGR Dream Catcher was the top selling bull in the sale, going for $7,200 to Beitelspacher Ranch of Bowdle, SD.

The Reserve Champion Simmental Bull went to Lot 54, W146 HR, consigned by Hale Ranch of Perryton, TX. This 1/3/09 son of TNT Top Gun R244 sold as the second high selling bull in the sale, going for $4,900 to Bruce Gordon of Whitewood, SD.

The Champion Simmental Heifer went to Lot 1, BLN Dolly 950W, consigned by Bolan Cattle Co. of Oconomowoc, WI. This 4/27/09 daughter of Star Power sold Tiel Glaus of Chamberlain, SD for $1,800.

The Reserve Champion Simmental Heifer went to Lot 8, Black Cow Elba 94, consigned by Ray and Sharon Lauffenberg of Alma Center, WI. This 2/1/09 daughter of CNS Dream On L186 sold as the second high selling heifer in the sale, going for $2,300 to Wayne Bordewyl of Rapid City, SD.

The high selling Simmental heifer went to Lot 9, Bebea, consigned by Cagney Effling of Highmore, SD. This bred heifer born 3/16/08 is the daughter of WAGER Dream Catcher 03R and sold for $4,000 to Jeremy Lehrman/Steve Muller of Madison, SD.
