The future of agriculture starts today

For the past 87 years, South Dakota State University (SDSU) has hosted Little International, the largest two-day livestock exhibition in the country, run entirely by students for students in an educational weekend that celebrates the agriculture industry. The theme for this year’s event is, “The Future of Agriculture Starts Today,” and Little “I” Manager Alissa Johnson extends an invitation for all producers to attend this exciting annual event on March 19-20, 2010 in Brookings, SD.

Those in attendance can expect to see a cartoon-like barn cutout that frames a show ring filled with green wood chips, setting the scene for a competitive weekend of judging contests, livestock shows, fitting competitions and prestigious agriculture honors. Johnson reviewed the highlights of this event for producers to look forward to.
