Wyoming: Benefit for A.J. Franzen family is Feb. 19 in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, WY – A fundraiser is being mounted to aid the family of PRCA timed-event cowboy A.J. Franzen, who was killed in a road accident Dec. 18 near his home in Carpenter, WY.

A silent auction and live auction will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Archer Complex in Cheyenne (exit 370 off I-80). There will be a $10 donation at the door.

The Law North of Crow Creek will provide entertainment, and there will be a cash bar with wine and beer.

Cash donations may be sent to First Interstate Bank, A.J. Franzen Memorial Fund, 4612 Rue Terre, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

Franzen is survived by his wife, Barbara, 16-month-old son, Jace, and a second child due to be born this spring.
