Western Junior Beef Showmanship The Western Junior Livestock Show’s Beef Showmanship Contest was held Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the Soule Building on the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City, SD. About 150 competitors in three categories – Beginner, Junior and Senior – vied for the title of Champion Showman. Sixty-six of those competitors were in the Senior category. Slim McNaught of Slim’s Custom Leather, New Underwood, SD, donated a plaque for all the champion and reserve winners. |
