Rapid City, SD—The Central States Fair's Black Hills Energy concert line-up will feature entertainment for everyone. National recording artists, regional artists, popular oldies groups and a red dirt country band are all slated to play the three nights of concerts offered in Rapid City Aug. 21-23.

Jake Owen, known for his thrilling performance and laid-back style of country music, ascended to stardom with five No. 1 smash hits including the 2X platinum anthem "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," Platinum-certified hits "Beachin'," "Anywhere With You," "Alone With You" and "The One That Got Away." The country music superstar is an ACM and ACA award winner along with earning both a Grammy and Teen Choice Awards nominations.

Dustin Evans has gained popularity in the region as a country artist. The Wessington Springs, SD native has opened for top country artists along with performing for many community events in the Midwest.

Montgomery Gentry with Micky & the Motorcars, Monday, Aug. 22

With more than 20 charted singles, the Kentucky-born duo, Montgomery Gentry, has sold millions of records and earned CMA, ACM and Grammy awards and nomination with undeniable blue collar anthems like "Hell Yeah," "My Town," and "Hillbilly Shoes." They've notched five No. 1 singles with "If You Ever Stop Loving Me," "Something To Be Proud Of," "Lucky Man," "Back When I Knew It All" and "Roll With Me."

Texas country music group, Micky & the Motorcars, are a true-blue Texas band. The Austin based group has released seven albums, including two live albums, which highlights their musical talent and stage presence. Their hit single off their current album, Hearts From Above, is "Tonight We Ride" and is described by front man Micky Braun as an "Anthem for soldiers and cowboys and cowgirls and bikers- really, anyone that sticks together as a team."

KC and the Sunshine Band with Little River Band, Tues., Aug. 23

KC and the Sunshine Band packs an impressive musical resume to the stage. The group has sold over 100 million records. The multi-platinum group has scored four No.1 pop singles. Their hits include party songs, "Get Down Tonight," "That's The Way I like It, " "Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake Your Booty," and "Boogie Shoes."

The Little River Band will join KC and the Sunshine Band onstage. The Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. Their focus was to get airplay on American radio and they achieved that goal with extraordinary songwriting, powerful vocals and guitar harmonies. They claimed their place as one of the great vocal bands of the '70's. Chart success in the United States include "Reminiscing," "Lonesome Loser," Cool Change," "Lady," and "It's A Long Way There." The Grammy Award nominee Little River Band has sold over 30 million records.

The 71st Annual Central States Fair will be August 19-27. The Rapid City fair offers 3 nights of concerts, 9-day carnival, demolition derby, supercross racing, ranch rodeo and 3 nights of PRCA rodeo action.
