Equine workshops set for April
April 2, 2015
Kenton Morgan, an equine technical service veterinarian for Zoetis, will be the keynote speaker at the NDSU Extension Service's Equine Encounter workshops.
Vaccinations, deworming, nutrient and pasture management, and weed control are among the topics to be covered.
Deworming, especially spring deworming, is on every horse owner's mind.
Vaccinations, deworming, nutrient and pasture management, and weed control are among the topics that will be covered in three workshops for horse owners in North Dakota in April.
Kenton Morgan, an equine technical service veterinarian for Zoetis, a global animal health company, will be the keynote speaker at the North Dakota State University Extension Service-created Equine Encounter workshops. He will discuss spring equine vaccinations and deworming.
"Deworming is probably the largest area of misinformation among equestrians and an area of concern due to resistance issues," Morgan says.
