National Western is hiring for the 2013 Stock Show

Denver, CO – The National Western Stock Show is hosting a Job Fair on Dec. 13th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to fill many positions for the upcoming
January 2013 Stock Show.

The Job Fair will be held at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street on the 3rd floor of the Hall of Education. Parking is FREE. The Job Fair will give applicants the opportunity to interview with hiring departments including Maintenance, Parking and Guest Relations.

National Western seeks hard-working people with excellent customer service skills. “We hope to fill several important positions in general maintenance, janitorial, parking and ticket- takers”, says Joanne Herrera, Manager of the National Western Employment Office. The Stock Show also has positions available in tack haulers and equipment operators.

Many of the positions are outdoors, regardless of weather and shifts run 8-12 hours a day for the 16 days of the Stock Show. “We’d love to have you join our team and be part of a 100-year old tradition”, says Ron Rohr, Staff Vice President of Administration.

Each year, NWSS hires approximately 500-600 temporary positions in order to operate the Super Bowl of Stock Shows in Denver. Applicants must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check. NWSS is a drug and alcohol free employer. F
