NILE Horse Haven plans announced
New at The NILE this year is Horse Haven, a two-day horse extravaganza in the Montana Pavilion of MetraPark, Billings, Mont., on Oct. 18 – 19. Open each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Horse Haven will consist of a variety of horse exhibitions, Stallion Row, and equine related trade show booths and exhibits. The NILE is currently accepting applications for trade show vendors as well as stallions to exhibit in Horse Haven.
A variety of breeds will be on display as Stallion Row is a breed showcase with some of the region’s top horse studs and breeding programs on exhibition. A juried selection of stallions will be made, based upon NILE providing show attendees a variety of horse breeds for viewing. Breed variety is the focus of Stallion Row and stallions selected for exhibition will serve as a representative of their breed.
In addition to a display stall and hospitality suite, selected stallions will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in the arena with allotted demonstration time each day. There is no cost to exhibit in NILE’s Stallion Row for the two-day Horse Haven event (Oct. 18-19). Space is limited and reservations will be awarded upon determination of suitability by a juried committee.
From saddles and tack to training aids and specialty equipment, if it’s related to horses, the trade show in Horse Haven is sure to have it! This horse extravaganza attracts horse owners, weekend warriors, the general public, and those interested in specific disciplines like Liberty Training. As a component of Horse Haven, this trade show will be open Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19, from 10 a.m. 6 p.m. Vendor space is limited and applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. Further information and map of trade show layout can be found on NILE’s website, http://www.thenile.org or by contacting the NILE office. Complete application and deposit for booth space must be made by Sept. 13, 2013.
Applications for both Stallion Row and Horse Haven Trade Show are due Sept. 13, 2013.
