Ranch Rodeo in Forsyth: July 22

Venture out to Forsyth this Friday, July 22 for the Rosebud-Treasure County Fair Ranch Rodeo kicking off at 7 p.m.

Cowboys and cowgirls gather to do what they do best–compete in events derived from roping and riding on the range. You don’t want to miss this authentic event!

Ten teams compete in events modeled after skills needed on a working ranch. The events that they’ll battle for are wild cow milking, bronc riding, team doctoring, mugging, and sorting.

Place a bet on the best team prior to the rodeo at the Calcutta. Rosebud-Treasure County Fairgrounds is the place to be to see athletic horses and wild rides at one of the oldest county fairs in the state of Montana. Spectators can also enjoy the many sights, sounds, and tastes of a county fair! There will be musical entertainment, magic shows, team roping, carnival rides, youth livestock shows, and so much more!

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-11, available for purchase at the Rosebud County Fair office, or online at rosebudcountyfair.com or at the gate.

The winning team from the Forsyth Ranch Rodeo will compete at the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals Saturday, October 15 at 7 p.m. in Billings, Montana.

The NILE is proud to have the Forsyth Ranch Rodeo as one of sanctioning partners because they share the vision of preserving and embracing the Western tradition.
