SD-raised horse ties world record
Rusza Quarter Horses, based near Selby, SD, raised RU Drifting Joe, “Joe,” a heading horse that helped Arizona team roper Brock Hanson make the 2012 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV.
The horse, trained by Cole Cooper of Grand Junction, CO, recently proved himself more than worthy by doing his thing, and assisting Hanson as he tied the world team roping record of 3.3 seconds at the Nacogdoches

There was another round of snow in the area, but not as much as last week’s. I probably got 2-3 inches here. It’s sloppy wet and soaking in. Every drop is welcome.
