Ty Tuff goat tying: Bowman, ND, July 25-26

The "Worlds Richest Goat Tying" is returning to Bowman, North Dakota, July 25-26, 2015.

Contestants from across the country are poised to take a run at over $10,000 in cash and prizes during the third annual TY TUFF Challenge held at the Dakota Winds Arena .

This one-of-a-kind event promises to be intense and exciting as there will be national and state champions competing as well as up-and-coming tough competitors. The 4D format with one second splits allows the "young guns" a chance to compete with the "big guns" of goat tying and assures them that they will have the opportunity to make bank on some cool cash and great prizes.

New to the event this year will be a breakaway roping with $1,000 added money on Saturday July 25, beginning at 1 p.m. There will be an open, high school/jr. high division. Open ropers will get two head and a short go. Jr. High/ high school will be paid on a two head average.

Action starts up again at 10 am Sunday morning with the first round of the goat tying. During the break between the first and second round, there will be a ground goat tying jackpot for youth that did not enter the 4D competition.
