Beastrom Ranch, owned by Jim and Barb Beastrom, along with their daughters and sons-in-law, Shad and Brandy Ludemann and Wes and Brittney Spencer, hosted a nice crowd of mostly repeat buyers for their annual sale. The ranch utilizes the best Gelbvieh and Angus genetics to produce seedstock that will generate profit. The bulls this year have increased their rib-eye size and their IMF percentages

Since this was their 36th sale, that tells you about the history of this herd, as well as the many relationships that they have established with their commercial customers and purebred friends.

The Beastroms demand that their cattle have eye appeal, soundness, and function. They want bulls that sire more pounds and profit for their customers. These cattle are bred to perform in the pasture, in the feedlot, and at the packer.

The red-hided bulls in this year’s sale were met with very strong competition all the way through the sale.
