Koupal Angus hosted a really big crowd out at their ranch for their 39th Annual Bull Sale. I felt that this was the strongest set of bulls from top to bottom that the Koupals have ever assembled. It is amazing to walk through the pens before the sale, as there are just good bulls all the way through.
LaVern and Alice Koupal have built this herd to produce females that are second to none. They have function and form, and they’ll raise a big calf without much fuss.
Bud and Bernie Koupal of Koupals B&B Angus produce an outstanding set of bulls every year, and this year was no exception. Bud has produced several bulls that are in AI studs across the nation, and they just keep proving themselves.
Now Derek and Kristi Koupal are part of the operation, and especially at chore time.
This was a very fast-paced sale and proved to be another top sale for Koupal Angus.
The top selling bull of the day was Lot 4, selling for $50,000, to the partnership of Alta Genetics, Watertown, Wisconsin, and Sitz Angus of Harrison, Montana. This is just a great family for me to work with, and they become more important every year! And with my Bohemian heritage, I especially enjoy the kolaches.
