Ludvigson Stock Farms’ Second Annual Dakota Bull Sale

Ryan Ludvigson, spokesman for Ludvigson Stock Farms.

Spring Edition

February 22, 2016

Center, North Dakota

Auctioneer, Seth Weishaar

TSLN Rep., Scott Dirk

62 Ranch Ready Red Angus Range Bulls $6,294

34 Ranch Ready Red Hybred Range Bulls $4,022

This offering of Red Angus, Red Hybrid and Red Simmental yearling bulls showed off their genetic potential. The genes buyers were investing in were shown off to their best advantage, not covered up by a lot of extra feed.

The program uses a multi-trait selection model that focuses on calving ease, growth, maternal and carcass traits.

In addition to the Ludvigson family, the offering was a joint effort between the Alan Heim family, the Price family and the Justin and Carrie Deckert family.

It was a great day for a sale, and there was a bull that fit nearly any budget.
