The 35th Annual Werning Cattle Co Production sale was held Feb 9, 2016, at the Werning Cattle Co. sale facility on the ranch near Emery, S.D. It is truly a milestone to be able to have 35 consecutive sales and achieve the high level of success that this firm has. The cattle are accepted by all facets of cattle producers in the industry, which is a true compliment to the Werning Cattle Co. family on their dedication year in and year out. Cattle enthusiasts from 28 states and Canada were on the seats, DV Auctions and the phone line to select breed leading genetics that will no doubt impact the future of the beef industry. The Werning family’s passion for top notch breeding stock was evident by the record selling 35th sale.

Lot 84, W/C Husker 100C, a Feb. 20, 2015, homozygous black, homozygous polled purebred son of WCS Mr. Husker 3076A x Miss Werning 534R sold to Schooley Cattle, Doug Groth, Whitaker Simmentals & Harrrell Cattle, Carthage, IL for $35,000 -one-half semen interest and one-half possession.
