Frey Angus Ranch drew a great crowd for their 40th Annual Bull and Female sale. An afternoon in a heated salebarn on location along with abundant hospitality and a delicious beef lunch set the stage for a tremendous sale.
Lot 4 sold for $25,000 to Vermillion Ranch, Billings, Montana. The Feb. 23, 2014 Barstow Cash son bull showed an impressive YW EPD of 123, a .2 BW EPD and .33 marbling EPD.
Lot number 10 sold for $16,000 to CRV-USA of Madison, Wisconsin. Another Barstow Cash son boasted a WDA of 3.71, ADG or 2.84 and a $B of $106.09.
Lot 2, out of Mogck Bullseye, sold to George Brown of Devils Lake, N.D., for $11,000 and Lot number 33 went home to Webb Ranch LLC of Isabel, S.D., for 100. THe Feb. 7, 2014, son posted an impressive $B 130.23, Adj. SC of 41, and WW EPD of 81.
The top red angus bull was Lot 102 and went to Allan Gemetsky of Towner, N.D., for 8,500.
This was a high growth, high performance set of cattle who sold to good programs from throughout the region and will surely improve herds for generations to come.
