The R Lazy B Charolais bulls are truly bred for performance and muscle. The bulls had great growth numbers. This was an outstanding set of bulls from top to bottom. Many longtime repeat buyers were on hand to compete for these good bulls.
The disposition on this set of bulls was excellent, as they moved through Hub City Livestock. Some of Robert's customers related that they had increased their weaning weights substantially by using these bulls, and this was substantiated by the very aggressive bidding.
Top selling bull of the day was Lot 356, selling for $12,000 to repeat buyer Mike Peterson from Cresbard, South Dakota. This was a deep-bodied bull that was packed full of muscle. He was a son of LT Ledger 0332P, and out of a daughter of RBM Fargo Y111. With an 84 pound birth weight, he weaned at 917 pounds to ratio 119. His EPDs included CE 7.6, BW -0.9, WW 45, YW 83, MILK 10, REA 0.72, and MARB 0.24. This good bull was out of a first calf heifer.

Lot 205 sold for $10,000 to Fred Hoffman from Long Lake, South Dakota. He was by RBM Fargo and out of a Performer daughter. Born at 90 pounds, he weaned at 965 pounds to ratio 119. He was very correct and thick made. His scrotal measurement was 41.7 cm. and he posted a rib eye of 17.6 square inches.
