Wilken Angus gathered a huge crowd for thir first annual “All Two-Year-Old” Angus Bull Sale. This firm has historically sold all of their yearling and two-year-old bulls in the spring.
Gary and Lori Wilken have built their program around calving ease bulls that will make extremely good, problem-free females. This was a very uniform set of bulls that were very well grown. I thought these bulls were exceptional on their feet. The family has a very strong customer base that believes in them and their cattle.
All of the bulls in the sale were AI’d by proven, tested AI sires, including AAR TenX, Barstow Cash, Connealy Confidence, Connealy Consensus, Connealy Earnan, SAF Final Answer 0035, Hoover Dam, B/R New Day 454, Baldridge Waylon, and others.
The sale moved along with many repeat buyers on the seats to compete for these good bulls.
