2011 Fizz Bomb Classic Horse Sale

The Fizz Bomb Classic horse sale was held in conjunction with the Fizz Bomb Classic Barrel futurity at the Cam-Plex Expo Center, Gillette, WY.
This was an excellent lineup of speed-bred horses. The sale horses had been selected for pedigree, performance and overall quality. It’s possible to travel many miles to find arena prospects with the bred-in ability as what was available at this sale. From finished barrel horses to weanling prospects, this sale had something for every level of speed horse enthusiast. Most every horse in the sale was nominated or paid up in several futurities and have the ability to take you to the pay window.
Topping the sale was a consignment from Teri Crooks, Valley City, ND. Sheza Frenchmans Guy is a 2006 palomino mare sired by Frenchmans Guy and out of a No Brakes Now mare. Jean Hladky, Gillette, WY, was the buyer at $13,000.
The next top-selling horse and top-selling Future Fortunes futurity horse was Flashy French Kirk, a 2010 chestnut mare sired by Frenchmans Guy and out of a Dr. Kirk mare. This mare was consigned by Johnson Stables, Lemmon, SD and purchased for $7,900 by Tom Jacobs and Christy Loflin, Franktown, CO.
Sadies Winchester, a 2010 palomino stallion sired by Sadies Frost Drift and out of a Royal Shake Em mare sold for $7,000. This stallion was consigned by Jeff and Kristie Thorstenson, New Underwood, SD, and purchased by Brian Williams, Gillette, WY.
Sheza Guy Too, a 2006 black mare sired by Guys Boon Bar by Frenchmans Guy and out of a mare by The Desert Jewel was a consignment from Wild at Heart Quarter Horses, Leith, ND, and purchased by Lowell Schweitzer, Gillette, WY for $7,000.

John G. Johnson, Lemmon, SD, consigned the next top-selling horse at $5,500. Sheza No Brakes is a 2010 chestnut mare by No Brakes Now and out of a Dr. Kirk mare. Danyelle Campbell, Beaumont, CA, was the buyer.
Selling at $4,300 was NF Frostys Lizzi, a 2008 palomino mare by Frosty Firewater and out of a Frenchmans Guy mare. This horse was a consignment from Gene and Alecia Fortune, Interior, SD, and purchased by, CR Bohleen Cattle Co., Wilsall MT.
