2012 National Western Angus Foundation Female Sale
The National Western Angus Foundation Female sale was held at the Livestock Exchange Building in the Yards at the National Western Complex, Denver, CO, on Jan. 13, 2012. The sale catalog for this sale read like a who’s-who in the Angus breed with consignors from across the U.S. The pedigrees represented new and fresh genetics in the live lots and embryo division. The semen lots consisted of many proven herd sires along with some legendary foundation herd sires in the Angus breed. The buyer list was also very extensive with buyers from 27 states plus Canada and Ireland purchasing at this sale.
Lot 59, RB Lady Credence 1198-890, sold for $19,000. This March 15, 2011 daughter of SQ Credence 67S was consigned by Riley Bros., Darlington, WI and sold to Sioux Pass Angus, Lodge Grass, MT and Gary Wall, Roundup, MT.
Lot 60C, RB Lady 890-1131, sold for $14,000. This Oct. 10, 2011 daughter of GAR Objective 7125 was consigned by Riley Bros., Darlington, WI and sold to Darren Bechthold, LaPorte City, IA.
Lot 65, B/R Blackcap Empress 134, sold for $10,500. This Feb. 1, 2011 daughter of B/R New Day 454 was consigned by Rishel Angus, North Platte, NE and sold to Gain and Weigh Stock Farm, Stanley, IA.
Lot 61, RB Lady Party 192-305, sold for $10,000. This Jan. 26, 2011 daughter of Werner War Party 2417 was consigned by Riley Bros., Darlington, WI and sold to Darren Bechthold, LaPorte City, IA.
Lot 22, CAF Barbaramere 1605, sold for $10,000. This March 2, 2011 daughter of Plainview Lutton E102 was consigned by Carter Angus Farm, Vermillion, SD and sold to Bruhn Farms, Mapleton, IA.
