2014 Ag Horizons conference in Pierre

The 2014 Ag Horizons Conference is just around the corner, scheduled for December 2 and 3 at the Ramkota River Center in Pierre. The theme for the conference this year is: "Growing Our Future."
Ag Horizons is an annual event which is hosted by S.D. Wheat Inc., the S.D. Pulse Growers, the S.D. Oilseeds Council, the S.D. No-Till Association, the S.D. Crop Improvement Association and the S.D. Seed Trade Association. The broad range of involvement by different producer and commodity groups makes the conference appealing to producers as well as people who work in the agricultural industry and government agencies.
Presentations include many production topics, as well as marketing, financial management and new technology, there is something of interest for anyone involved in agriculture. Certified crop advisor credits will be available. A number of agricultural industries and agencies also have exhibits at the conference and are a good source of information on new developments.
The sponsoring commodity groups hold annual meetings at the Ag Horizons Conference, this year on Tuesday morning, December 2, beginning at 8:00 am.
The Ramkota River Center is located at 920 West Sioux Ave. Check-in is set to start at 8:30 am on December 2, with the program beginning at 9:50 am. The cost to attend the two day conference is $85.00. This includes one breakfast, two lunches and one supper. Attendees also have the option to pay $45.00 to attend a half day of the conference.
