The 27th Annual Kappes “Genetics with the Holistic Approach” Sale was held at the Aberdeen Livestock Market in Aberdeen, SD on Saturday, Feb., 15, 2014. The Kappes sale offering include exceptional sons and daughters of Wheatland High Octane 169Y, OLF Thor, NLC Upgrade, Kappes Trailblazer X621, SVF Steel Force and W/C United. A very large crowd of new and repeat buyers enjoyed the Kappes hospitality for lunch and after the sale. When Col. Jim Birdwell dropped the gavel on the last lot, the Kappes’s most successful sale ever ended with an overall average of $4,494 on 133 total head.
