With the addition of 14 guest consigners from South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska, Randy Steinke of Colome, SD auctioned the 88 head offered to buyers from nine outside states. Sitting at his side reading the pedigrees was Jan Swan Wood of Newell, SD.

The top selling weanling was brought to the sale by the Lauing Quarter Horse program bringing $1,475. Lot 43, a Red Roan Stallion sired by Revue Hancock out of dam Bernard Star Pat was sold to Craig Huber of Montana.

The top five selling weanlings averaged $1,315 while the top ten weanlings averaged $1,032 each.
