3C Christensen and NLC Ranch Simmental Production Sale

The 3C Christensen and NLC Simmentals presented an excellent set of cattle for their 39th annual production sale. The sale was held at the ranch in their newly constructed heated sale facility. The warm barn was very welcoming to the sale attendees when coming in from the chilly, windy weather outside.
3C Christensen ranch is a family operation consisting of John and Peggy Christensen with 16 year old daughter Carly, along with daughter Cam and her husband Chad Smith. Another daughter NaLani and husband Rick Dunsmore make up NLC Simmentals. The cowherds are all focused on the same goals of producing cattle that will calve easy, wean heavy and be easy fleshing. They are strictly culled on soundness, structure, udder quality and disposition. With this strict culling program, the cattle offered on the sale not only perform well but have bred in longevity. The bulls are stylish with lots of length and thickness and the heifers are some of the top replacements to be found anywhere.
