4-H Beef & Swine Fitting & Showing Workshop April 23 in North Platte

Plan to attend a 4-H Beef and Swine Fitting and Showing workshop on April 23 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in North Platte starting at 9:00 am with the swine and 1:00 pm with the beef. The cost of the program is $10 which includes lunch.

Featured clinician for the workshop is Danielle Stout from Olpe, Kansas where her family raised Hereford cattle and show pigs. She spent most of her childhood showing all species of livestock in 4-H from show steers to chickens. Danielle was an active member in the National Junior Swine Association, and following high school she attended Fort Scott Community College, where she was a member of the livestock judging team. Later on she transferred to Oklahoma State University where she worked at the purebred swine unit and also participated on the OSU Livestock Judging team. Following OSU graduation, she worked on a large Angus ranch where she traveled nationally on the Angus ROV circuit. She judges livestock shows throughout the region and also helps local producers fit and show cattle when she has time. Danielle is sponsored by Show-Rite© Show Feeds.
