More than 5,000 farmers and ranchers traveled to Seattle, WA to attend the 91st Annual American Farm Bureau Federation’s (AFBF) Meeting on Jan. 10-12, 2010. The theme of this year’s AFBF event was, “Passage to Success,” which focused on navigating the rocky waters of the current agriculture industry, while also recognizing the industry as a viable leader to help recover the struggling American economy.

The event opened with a keynote address by AFBF President Bob Stallman, a past president of the Texas Farm Bureau and a five-term president of the national organization. Stallman’s speech aimed to rally the producers in attendance to stand up and fight for the future of the agriculture industry, protecting it for the next generations.
