Auctioneer Craig Conover honored
Publication representatives from the upper Midwest gathered in O’Neill, NE, on Aug. 25 to celebrate the retirement of long-time auctioneer, Craig Conover. Craig traveled throughout the U.S. for 42 years selling purebred production sales for the top seedstock operations in the nation. His main passion has been Angus cattle. He is known for studying pedigrees, understanding each animal’s strengths and conveying that to potential buyers. One thing is for sure, after Craig finished evaluating the sale offering, he usually knew as much about the breeding program as the owner.
