What is your future in the sport of rodeo? I would like to continue in Little Britches, then do Junior High, High School, and College Rodeo. Then someday I would like to end up at the NFR.

What is your ultimate goal as you continue competing in rodeos? One of my goals is to win the All-Around at the Little Britches Finals rodeo. I would like to keep improving and getting better in all my events and I want to rope well, too. I would like to be a Little Britches, Junior High, and High School event champion.

Favorite aspect of rodeo: Competing and making good friends. I like camping at rodeos with my family and my good friends.

Best rodeo memory: Making a 19 second pole run this year at the Little Britches Finals and, according to their program, setting a new Little Wrangler arena record.

Notable achievements in the sport:

Little Britches Finals 2013:

• Barrels: 2nd in 1st go, 2nd in short go, 5th in the world.

• Goats: 1st short round, 7th in the world.

• Poles: 1st in 2nd go.

Elks Youth Rodeo

• Reserve all-around champion 2012, 2013

Timed Event competitors: Tell us about your horses: Super Tot “Pueblo” 20 year old bay gelding is my barrel horse. We bought him from Kelly Schnaufer and family in Pueblo, Colo., a couple years ago. He has taught me so much and I just love him. He tries so hard. For the poles, I got to ride my sister’s horse, Friday, this year at the Little Britches Finals. He is 16 and so fun. Shelby Smith (Stephenville, Texas) owns and trained him. He is so talented and we are really lucky to have him. I have also had the privilege of riding Sunny, who belongs to Taylor Engesser in the poles at some rodeos and the goats at the little britches finals. She has a huge heart. My goat horse, Buddy, (who came from the Craig Deveraux family) was really sick this past winter so Taylor let me use Sunny. She is very special to me. For the flags, I ride my dad’s rope horse Chico. He is 16 years old. I really love all my horses.

Have you attended any rodeo schools? If so, which ones? No not yet.

What do you like to do when you’re not competing? I play basketball, ride bikes and ski in the winter.

What’s playing on your iPod/radio? Taylor Swift.
