The Best of the West sale in Dickinson, N.D., is comprised of three smaller Red Angus breeders that join forces to host an annual Red Angus sale in Dickinson, ND. These operations consist of Spur M Red Angus, owned and operated by Doug and Darcy McGee and family; Schriefer Red Angus, owned and operated by Marc and Jodi Schriefer and family and McGee Red Angus, owned and operated by Meryl and Stacy McGee and family. These families join together each year to offer an excellent set of range ready bulls.
These three Red Angus operations all work with a common goal, to produce sound, functional Red Angus seedstock that excel in the pasture and not in the feedlot. These bulls had not been pushed for high gains, instead fed for soundness and efficiency. They will cover the rugged pastures of the area and stay sound for several breeding seasons.
