Black Hills Stock Show: Cattle on display throughout the week
Entries for the cattle halter classes at the Black Hills Stock Show (BHSS) were brisk this year, according to Livestock Coordinator Andrea Hildebrandt. “Every year is different, but we are going to have a good show this year,” she says. “There is a lot of interest in the halter shows, and some even filled up. Entries are very similar to what they were last year.”
Hildebrandt says close to 400 cattle will be shown during the 10 breed shows held throughout the week. “The BHSS is an excellent opportunity for producers to promote their cattle. It is also an excellent opportunity to purchase some high-quality animals,” she says.
